Landon Layne is at the office for a new patient examination. During his school years, Landon took part in the Track and Field relay team events and also played tennis. His sports physicals during that time frame were all performed at a hometown clinic. I direct Landon to undress to his underwear to begin his examination.
Landon has not developed much body hair and what little has developed, he has shaven it smooth. It is not often that I get an office patient that is as relaxed as Landon was for this exam. The most traumatic experiences with most of my patients involve the rectal examination and the urethral swab culture.
Knowing that Landon is gay and has experienced receiving anal sex, I anticipated that a rectal examination would not cause a problem. But I was relieved to see how nonchalant Landon was about the urethral. He just looked away and waited for it to be over, without a whimper. Of course, like the other patients, he too was relieved when I completed it.
At this point, all that remained was the required semen specimen. A task that Landon took to right away and in no time at all, secured a specimen for testing purposes.
