Personal Trainers 1 is a must-have for any die-hard Bel Ami fan. Not many people realize how much work and practice these handsome Slovakian boys put into their performances – even before they hit the screen. Several ‘training sessions’ occur before these young men are even allowed to show their faces on screen. In the opening scrawl, we learn that most of the Bel Ami models have never had gay sex and a considerable percentage of them aren’t even familiar with how condoms work. So the boys at Bel Ami (director Marty Stevens, cameraman and trainer Sebastian Bonnet and trainer Dano Sulik) get these boys prepped and ready for action. In some cases, several sex scenes take place even before they have their first on-camera experience, just to make them look even more natural on screen. With the three trainees here, the best scene is the second, where Sulik (whose jackrabbit fucking style is always fascinating) takes on cutie Ramon Valenti. The final scene is good as well, where Sulik and Bonnet tag team adorable paratrooper Gilles Marais. The only problem with the first scene (and could spoil the fantasy that some may have about these performers) is that Sulik, while training Tommy Alvarez, comes across as somewhat of a prima donna, even though he’s trying to help Alvarez. Shot gonzo-style, director Stevens is present and will occasionally talk with the models as they are working. This part jack off tape/part documentary is definitely a fascinating look into the process that these gorgeous youths must go through before they appear as a Bel Ami boy.
